I. Miracles Have a Message:
- God is powerful
- God is alive
- God cares about human pain; God is compassionate and merciful
II. Miracles Have a Method:
- Man's extremities allow for God's ability
- Miracles come during difficulties, human pain, necessity that pushes a person to rely totally upon God
- Miracles come when people expect them
- Miracles happen when people obey by faith
III. Miracles Have a Mystery:
- God doesn't always perform a miracle because we want Him to or becausee we think He should. God will not be maipulated by some erroneous human formula. He remains God. (2 Timothy 4:20) Erastus stayed in Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick in miletus. Paul could not heal everyone.
IV. Miracles Have a Mission:
- Miracles happen to confirm God's Word
- Miracles happen to exalt the name of Jesus
- Miracles happen to give testimony to Jesus' resurrection and break through to a Bilblically illiterate society.
