Three things to help Overcome Offence:
1) Pray for the Perpetrator - Matthew 5:43-44
• Stephen - "Lord lay not this sin to their charge"
– Jesus - "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do."
– Job's situation turned around when he prayed for his friends - Job 42:10
– Can't pray for someone without seeds of forgiveness - Matthew 6:14-15
2) Trust in the Tree
– He is the Lord that heals – Exodus 15
– Jesus took the curse and felt our betrayal
3) Release to the Redeemer
– God is the one who restores and changes from bitter to glad – Ruth 4:14-17
– When John the Baptist was in jail, he sent me to question Jesus – Matthew 11:4-6
